Longwood Gardens — East Gardens, September 2013: Part I

 

Longwood Gardens, located in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, covers 1077 acres. The gardens are open every day, though prices and hours vary according to the season. Flowers and displays are changed from season to season, so any time is a good time to visit. Check the website for special events. Timed admission tickets are required, so purchasing tickets ahead of time is advisable.

Since retiring from a career as a high school English and history teacher, I've been pursuing a career as a writer.
