The anthology Tales of Fortannis: A Bard’s Eye View, in which you’ll find my fantasy short story “A Rock Is a Rock Is a Rock … Or Is It,” is now available from Amazon in print and Kindle and from the publisher, Double Dragon Publishing, as an e-book.
The anthology has a wide variety of tales featuring humans and other species. The characters in my story are goblins. The goblins of Fortannis are not big, menacing creatures but are short, green-skinned, and red-headed. Humans tend to regard them as lesser creatures, but they have their own special brand of wiliness. My story is a tale of adventurous goblin children whose curiosity drives them to follow a human road. What they find is not at all what they expect.
